CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas received approval from its Board of Trustees on Friday to enter into a four-year contract to overhaul its core networking equipment that carries internet traffic across campus, with an option to extend the approximately $5.3 million agreement for three additional years.
The contract with IK Electric and IK Network Solutions, an Arkansas based technology company, is an investment in the long-term future of the university’s technology systems, UCA Chief Information Officer Trevor Seifert told trustees.
